Program Overview

Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a 2-year postgraduate course offered in Commerce. It has a total of 4 semesters designed by Bangalore City University to enhance one’s skill and knowledge in the areas of Research, Teaching, Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Cost Management, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and other related fields.

Course Dimensions

  • Provides holistic learning environment through – Research related field visits; Lessons Delivered by CAs, CMAs and Industry Veterans; Seminars, Guest Lecture related to IPR; Research Methodology and Commerce.

Established during the academic year 2017 – 2018, Department of PG Studies in Commerce (M.Com) fosters to the need of the society by promoting and developing Higher Education and Research Orientation. The Department promises to provide student – focused education in a professional and cordial environment with quality as a main frame.

The department has a forum – EMPORIUM to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the student besides acquainting them with the teaching proficiency. The forum regularly conducts various inter – class competitions focussing on current trends and requirements. The department has a platform to inculcate research orientation in students.
