NSS (National Service Scheme)

The NSS unit of the college is a highly reputed and recognized unit that was introduced in 2013 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Very appropriately, the motto of NSS is "NOT ME, BUT YOU". An NSS volunteer places community’ before ‘self’. Our college conducts rural camps, health awareness campaigns, helping the disabled, and other activities. NSS volunteers are always at the helm to do all these activities under the guidance of the NSS program officer.

Youth Red Cross

Jnana Jyothi Degree College organizes the Blood Donation Camp for the Welfare of the society and motivating the students to become a responsible citizens and blood donors as well as spreading the message of peace and harmony through humanitarian approaches.

Every year our institution takes an initiative to collaborate with the Indian Red Cross Society in order to ensure the safe and adequate supply of blood with the motto to promote blood donation activity among the youth. Our blood donation camp receives overwhelming response from the faculty members, students, alumni and other stakeholders.
