Language skills are important to enhance all-round development of students. Language connects humans. It is the conduit for conveying and understanding emotions The Language Skills for Students and Professionals is important. Without language, we cannot communicate and we might as well not be in a society. Good language skills ensure the smooth functioning of a business. Besides, it also solves problems and creates opportunities. The four pillars of language learning are - listening, speaking, reading and writing which when integrated into the course shall deliver a balanced development of skills. We further aim to instill Intellectual curiosities, Analytical and Interpretive thinking and expand their learning horizons

The mainstay of the vision of the Department of English is to offer students adequate communication skills to prepare them for their professional needs in the globalized scenario prevalent today.

हिन्दी विभाग
ज्ञान ज्योति स्नािक महाविद्यालय के हहन्दी विभाग के द्िारा हहन्दीिर प्रदेश के छात्र-छात्राओंको हहन्दी के महत्ि सेसम्बद्ध विचारों को समझानेके अलािा शुद्ध हहन्दी मेंबोलना और ललखना लसखानेके साथ व्याकरणिक समुचचि ज्ञान प्रदान करनेका प्रयत्न ककया जािा है। कामकाज हहन्दी, पत्रलेखन कला, पाररभाविक शब्दािली, अनिु ाद कला और महत्ि आहद विचारों पर संदभाानुसार चचााकी जािी हैऔर समुचचि ज्ञान प्रदान ककया जािा है। प्राचीन, मध्यकालीन और आधुतनक साहहत्य का पररचय पाठ्यक्रम और पठ्येिर कायाक्रमों के अंिगाि कराया जािा है। विशेि व्याख्यान माललका के माध्यम सेख्यािनाम साहहत्यकारों और विशेिज्ञों आमंत्रत्रि कर व्याख्यान हदलानेके द्िारा छात्र-छात्राओंमेंसाहहत्य के प्रति रुचच उत्पन्न करािेहैं। भािि, पररचचाा, तनबंध लेखन, कवििा रचना आहद प्रतियोचगिाओंके द्िारा छात्रों में अंतितनाहहि अलभव्यंजन शक्तियों को भी बाहर लानेका प्रयत्न ककया जािा है। विभाग का प्रमखु लक्ष्य भािा और साहहत्य ज्ञान का सही विकास करनेसेहै।
